 Infosys Technologies Ltd. it is going to recruit 15000 freshers as per its Q3 result (dtd. 12/01/2010). I quote below the relevant portion from page-5 of the Q3 result: "…In Q4, we are going to hire 6,000 people. For the year, we are hiring 25,000 people. For next year, we are making 15,000 campus offers..." - by S. Gopalakrishnan, CEO & MD, Infosys Technologies.

Infosys Freshers Recruitment process: There are two ways in which a fresher can apply for an Infosys job: 1.0 Campus Recruitment. 2.0 Off-Campus Recruitment.
Infosys Campus Recruitment: Infosys relies heavily on campus recruitment for its intake of freshers. It does this by maintaining a close relation with institutes of repute through its various programs like Campus Connect (the academia-industry initiative to “align college curriculum with the industry’s requirements”), Instep (the Global Internship Program) as well as its normal campus hiring programs.
Infosys campus recruitment for freshers in engineering institutes takes place from May to September while in management institutes campus recruitment takes place from December to March.

Infosys Fresher Eligibility: Eligibility for freshers to participate in Infosys recruitment events depends on for which Infosys divisions the recruitment is being done.
Infosys BPO fresher eligibility: The eligibility for is not much and is as below: 1.0 Minimum qualification - Graduation/Diploma (10+2+3) 2.0 Should have good communication skills & willing to work in shifts.
Infosys IT/ Consulting fresher eligibility: The eligibility depends on which positions they wants to fill, but an average requirement is given below:
1.0 Fresh Engineering Graduates / Post Graduates, M.Sc (Maths, Statistics, Physics or Computer Science) or MCAs.
2.0 Excellent academic record, through out till Engg./Graduation and Post Graduation. The %age eligibility criteria depends on which technical positions they wants to fill but in no cases minimum %age is less than 60% - all through out from Class-X till graduation.
3.0 Must not have participated Infosys selection process in past 9 months.
