DRDO SET-2009 Forms- From SBI & by Post

DRDO has just issued notification for DRDO SET-2009 Exam, details of which can be found from my previous blog post titled: DRDO SET 2009 Exam: Notification, Eligibility & Forms. This blog post is intended to tell you how to get the DRDO SET 2009 Exam application forms.

There are two sources from where you can get these forms:
1.0 Personally from the nearby DRDO designated SBI branches. (listed below).
2.0 By post from The Director, RAC.
DRDO SET exam application forms are electronically scannable and should be obtained only from above sources.

DRDO SET-2009 Forms from designated SBI branches:
You can purchase the DRDO SET-2009 forms. from the designated SBI branches (listed below) from 5th May 2009 to 5th Jun 2009, after paying the DRDO SET exam fee of Rs. 300/= for General/OBC candidates & Rs. 100/= for SC/ST candidates. No exam/application fee is required for physically challenged (HH/OH) candidates.

DRDO SET-2009 Forms by post from the Director, RAC:
In case of any difficulty for procuring the SET-2009 forms from SBI branches, you can also procure the same through post from RAC, DRDO, Delhi.

For this, send your request to Director, Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054 by enclosing a crossed demand draft for Rs. 350/- for General/OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates, in favour of “Director RAC”, payable at Delhi. Your request letter and DD must be accompanied with two self addressed white slips of size 4” x 3”. The envelope must indicate “REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FORM SET-2009,ADVT NO. –94”.

You must write your name, address, contact (Tel/Mobile) number and E-mail address at the back of demand draft. HH/OH candidates may obtain application form free of cost from RAC by sending a copy of “Prescribed Disability Certificate” issued by competent authority mentioning their subject.

The request for obtaining the form must reach the Director RAC latest by 25th May 2009

DRDO SET-2009 Exam Important dates:
Issue of SET-2009 forms from SBI: 05 May 2009 to 05 June 2009.
Receipt of request for issue of Application Form by Post: 25.05.2009
Last date of submission of SET-2009 forms: 05 June 2009 (15th June for Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep)
Date of SET-2009 Exam: Sunday, 6th September 2009; (Time: 1000 – 1300 hrs).

Arunachal Pradesh – Itanagar.

Assam - Dibrugarh (Dibrugarh Branch); Guwahati (Panbazar, ICD Amigaon); Jorhat (Main Branch, A.T. Road); Silchar (Park Road); Tezpur (Tezpur Branch).

Bihar - Bhagalpur (Beatson Road); Gaya; Muzaffarpur; Patna (Secretariat, West Gandhi Maidan). Chhattisgarh - Bilaspur; Jagdalpur; Raipur (Jaistambh Chowk).
