Pre-employment medical Test for ICICI

April 10, 2008

This post is made in sequel to my previous post "Event SpotLight: ICICI Recruitment Event" which explains in detail on how to prepare for ICICI recruitment test. This post focuses on the after-selection processes of ICICI.

As part of the recruitment process of ICICI Bank, all candidates who had been declared selected needs to go through a medical check up from any reputed hospital /Laboratory.

Candidates are required to do the following tests under pre-employment medical check up package:

• ECG
• Chest X-ray
• CBC
• ESR
• Routine Urine
• Routine Stool
• Physician check up

In addition to the above laboratory reports, a letter from the Hospital/Physician is required stating that candidate is medically fit to join the Bank. The original copy of the letter and the test reports needs to be submitted when the candidates joins the bank.

No candidate can join ICICI Bank without completing his / her pre employment medical tests.

The charges for these tests is approximately Rs. 500. The amount is reimbursed on joining in first salary payment for which original bills is required to be submitted on joining.

Candidate will have to pay the cost of additional tests if requested over and the above tests or if doctor/hospital prescribes further investigation tests.
